Missing Baby!

I don't mean to alarm anyone, but it seems that my baby has gone missing. I put him to bed just a couple of weeks ago and in the morning he had vanished! Just like that, into thin air! In his place was this big boy, equally as precious, and whom I adore just as much, but I can't help to wonder each and every day where on Earth our helpless little baby went.

This big boy proves to be lots of fun, as he's able to do more cool things everyday!

Big boys are put to work in this house. You're never too young to learn how to do laundry.

Big boys also get to play at the park! Shae loves the swings!

Change is in the Air

We are so excited to finally be able to get outside and enjoy some fresh air without our eyelids freezing together! We're anxiously watching those huge mountains of snow shrink into small hills and even noticing a few feathered creatures gracing our skies with their presence. Spring is almost here!

The whole family got out the other day for Shae's first walk of 2010, enjoying a balmy 30 degree (above zero!) afternoon. Okay, so we only made it around the cul-de-sac, but it was still awesome!

Uh oh, has anyone seen my fingers?

In other news, Shae continues to teeth and is now sporting four teeth! They're not coming in in the normal order though so he has a bit of a lopsided smile for now. He's also sitting up like such a big boy! He'll sit by himself and play for extended periods of time and he really seems to enjoy this new perspective. He seems to be getting ready to scoot or crawl, but is pretty content just rolling to where ever he wants to get to for now. He gets himself into some interesting locations and we have to keep a very close eye on him. I think he has quite the sense of adventure. He is so interactive and each stage just keeps getting more and more fun. We really enjoy being his parents.

And the latest exciting news: we sold our townhome and are building a new home! We are definitely ready for some more room and a yard! We close on our townhome in April and will be moving in with my dad and step-mom (Grandpa Gary and Grandma Mary) while we wait for our house to be complete. The new house will be in south Lakeville and should be ready sometime around July. It will be a busy spring and summer!

Happy (almost) Spring everyone!
